I created these tiny seamless GIF graphics - 0,1
to 0,5 KBytes - as backgrounds for tables.
GIF Graphics, in shades of grey - 50 to 230 Bytes only ! useful as a break line,
lath, background for the table.
The colourful line above is actually a table (
200 Bytes light ! ) with the following code:
<table width="100%" border="0"
cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" background="/libnew/lath/strip_up9.gif"
height="9">
Do you want to have a thinner line ?
Place a transparent Gif inside the table - can be 1 pixel wide - and just as
high as you wish.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
And here some clips for vertical tables if you need a
colour margin for your page. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- just give the
width you need and the browser loads it immediately ! -
|
Do you see my uppermost navigation bar or link lath on my pages ? Such a bar is 100 Bytes light !
|
You can try different heights than
a given one and have new effects !
Use any paint program to colorize it. |

|
All these laths here are 20px wide; you can extend them on your web page to the width you want. The browser needs to load 20 px only ! Having lots of pictures to show, I need these little tricks to make a navigation quick! |

Looks neat when
you want to type a short text in a table with a background - or place
your links there !

note about ©
In the course of designing my site, I've created many
wallpapers, graphics and clips.
These are free for the taking, but you might want to give credit where credit
is due, or link to me
when you choose to use these on your private web pages / in noncommercial projects.
Commercial use is copyrighted.
Meta Tags contain various information about your web page, having no influence
on how the page is displayed.
Meta Tags are needed for robots, crawlers, spiders, search engine programs which
index your page, for browsers and servers in web.
Take and use what you need from the collection below. Content is the most important
factor for your page placement in search engines.
Use Meta Tags to make the content visible; it is a way to help your page be
more easily found on the web.
Since search engines logarythms differ from one to the other and often change,
all the Tips are for the most important part of the service;
like the Yahoo Directory or Google. I believe this basic tips are good for all
other spiders as well.
